After backing up my IPhone before updating the software I was horrified when the update hung and failed. When I tried to restore the phone I discovered the back up was corrupted! When I looked for alternative back ups I realised the last one was a year old. After much fretting i had to use that one which left 12 months of gaps in data other changes made over the time. Despairingly put in Fix Corrupt Iphone back up in to my browser and came up with Decipher. Anxiously I gave it a try and within half an hour the problem was fixed. 48hours of misery and worry sorted. After iTunes corrupted my backup, I was dead in the water. Decipher Backup Repair, repaired the backup and a good 95% of the data was restored. Most multi-auth apps and their configurations were also restored. Some were not, but that was because of the added security that they built into their own multi-auth app. I had very little hope of getting my iPhone back to where it was... I'm extremely glad that Decipher Tools proved me wrong!

I actually used two Decipher products: Decipher Backup Repair and Decipher Backup Browser.

My iPhone backup to my PC was incomplete, and Decipher Backup Repair was able to repair it successfully. I became frustrated during the process of restoring the backup to my phone, but the issues turned out to be Apple-related, not Decipher-related.

Decipher Backup Browser was equally impressive. I used it to pull my photos from the backup onto my PC, and to my delight, the photos were automatically organized into folders by year, then month, and then day. It may sound like a small thing, but it made organizing thousands of photos incredibly easy and saved me a tremendous amount of time.

Both products were outstanding and did exactly what they were supposed to do. Along the way I discovered that some of the biggest hurdles weren’t caused by Decipher at all, but by Apple’s ecosystem. At times it felt like the machine was fighting me every step of the way! For example, I was shocked to discover that Apple won’t allow HEIC photos to be uploaded from a PC to iCloud Photos—even though HEIC is Apple’s preferred photo format on the iPhone. 🤯

this is a great company to do business
My experience did not go smoothly but through email conversations, we figured out what was wrong and backed up all my data
It would’ve taken me literally 20 to 30 hours to reload every app every password everything has to be done
The software was worth the money for the amount of time that was saved
I preached to my kids, always back your phones up to your computer in case you have a crash
So my phone did, but then the files were corrupt

I am not someone who usually writes reviews, but I felt that I should share my experience. Last night was terrible. I wiped my iPhone to manage a storage issue and when I tried to restore my backup, it failed with a “backup corrupted” message. I'd backed my phone up to an external hard drive on my mac and when attempting to restore, after waiting for the entire restoration, was getting a message that the backup was corrupt. Deciper allowed me to do a full restore!

I can't believe that this actually worked. My stupid ass iTunes backup got corrupted for God knows what reason and I deleted everything off my phone so I thought I lost all my info but luckily this was able to bring it back. Screw iTunes and thanks Decipher Tools Team!
