Some iPhone users have been experiencing a bug where restoring a backup to their iPhone running iOS 9.0.2 causes the iPhone to hang while starting back up after the restore. Typically the error causes the iPhone to hang on the Apple logo screen, with or without the loading bar, or to cycle the Apple logo screen on and off. This problem affects iPad and iPod Touch backups as well. Rebooting the iPhone just brings the Apple logo screen back.

Over the past couple weeks, we've isolated three different causes in backups for the iPhone hanging after reboot. We're working on an update to Decipher Backup Repair to address each of them!

In the meantime, if you stumble on this page because your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is stuck trying to reboot after restoring a backup, don't hesitate to contact us if the public version of Decipher Backup Repair doesn't fix the problem. We have working development versions for each of the problems we've encountered, and we'll figure out which one best suits your situation.
