When I use the free trial I still get the error message. Do I have to purchase it for the advanced repair or is there anything else I can try first?

Hi David,

The free trial of Decipher Backup Repair will show the errors we've found and start the repair process, so that you can see how the program works. You'll need the full version of the program to complete the repairs so you can restore.

Most backups won't need the Advanced Repair, but yes if you do need it, that functionality is unlocked after registering as well.

I hope that helps!
