In iOS 16, Apple added support to edit and unsend messages. Decipher TextMessage supports these edited and unsent messages.

Like the iPhone Messages app, Decipher TextMessage shows that the text messages were edited, in addition to the messages current contents. Here is what it looks like within Decipher TextMessage:

If you are importing messages from an older device (pre-iOS 16 iPhone or importing from the macOS Messages app on an older macOS version) and that device shows both versions of the text, Decipher TextMessage will also show both versions of the text. That is only if the device itself shows both versions already.
