I don't see my iPhone in Decipher TextMessage!
Rated (5.0 of 5.0) by 1 reviewers.If you have installed Decipher TextMessage and you do not see your iPhone in the left hand column of the software, don't panic! Here is what to do:

Make a new backup new backup of your iOS device on your computer. To do this simply plug your iPhone into your computer and select "Back Up" in the menu of Decipher TextMessage. Here are specific instructions on how to back up your device.

After making a new backup of your iOS device on your computer, follow the instructions to restart Decipher TextMessage and your iPhone or iPad should now appear in the left-hand column of Decipher TextMessage. If you still don't see your device in the program or you are unable to back up your iPhone to your computer, contact us via our support page and we'll reply back to you and help get your device to show up so you can start saving your text messages!
Other things to double-check if you don't see your device in Decipher TextMessage

Make sure you are running the most recent version of the software. You can simply select "Check for Updates" in the menu of Decipher TextMessage.

If you're being prompted for a backup password in Decipher TextMessage, then your backup is encrypted and Apple requires the password to read any of the data within your iPhone backup. If you don't know the backup password, then this article may be helpful to help you remember or reset it!
